Can you believe it? This year marks 75 years of Youth For Christ ministry in Greater Greensboro! 75 years of students hearing the Gospel and experiencing the love of Jesus. 75 years of adults in Greensboro believing in the next generation. 75 years of seeing students’ lives in Guilford County be forever changed as a result. It has all been possible because of God’s faithfulness and partners like you. We are so excited to celebrate the rich history of GGYFC with you this year at our Annual Sharing Banquet! Last year, at our Annual Sharing Banquet, we tried something new, a Time of Connection before our program, and based on feedback it was a HIT! This year we will be keeping the connection hour from 6 to 7 pm. If you missed it last year, I highly recommend you experience it this year. It is a wonderful time of connecting with partners who have been with us for years, as well as getting to know new partners. Unquestionably however, the highlight of the time is having the opportunity to meet and engage with our students – after all they’re the reason we exist.
This year we will be bringing back the photobooth, and offering even more interactive games that you can play with your friends and our students! There will also be a space where you can learn more about our student ministries as well as our vision for the future of GGYFC. We also will be featuring a special 75th Anniversary “YFC Through the Years” ares with highlights from our ministry through out the decades. It is sure to be a fun time for everyone! Our key ministry leaders, GGYFC staff and board members will also be in attendance.
